About stepherz.org

I guess it all started in December 2001. I had been surfin the net on my brand new computer I had gotten on my 12th birthdayn and after running across some crappy sites I thought

"Hmmm... that looks pretty easy... I can do something like that!"

When I started the site, I was really into three animes, Sailor Moon, Monster Rancher, and Cardcaptors. So, I made some site on Microsoft Word explaining what they were about, profiles, and this mondo huge gallery. So, every night I was on the computer trying to make it happen. My site started on angelfire.com. I highly suggest them by the way, if you're just starting out. They really helped me grow. I still needed a cool name though. That was taken care of when I was buying stickers at a movie theatre, and one of them was Starlette! Always was I fascinated by space and time, so the name kinda stuck to me... Fantasy World just seemed proper for now apparent reason.

Well, eventually, I got older. And grew out of the big anime phase. While I still like anime, I got into the personal sites that many people were making... so Starlett's Fantasy World... grew. Into much more than anime! During this time, the website's name was beginning to become a hassel... too. It got shortened to just SFW, when one of my friend's asked,

"How's SFW coming?"

So that just kinda stuck.

On January third, 2003, Angelfire suspended my account there. I was racing desperately to save my site. I applied for hosting at several sites, but all rejected me. I wasn't good enough. (Actually, at this time I don't blame them!) I could no longer do anything to my site, so after much begging and pleading, my mom got me this domain on January 7th.

The name? Well, my best friend Candace had been calling me Stepherz for a while. Cute, ay? So, eventually while searching for a name I narrowed it down to stepherz.org and starlicious.net. While, in actuality, I liked the second one better, my mom said it sounded to much like a porn site, so both her and Candace bribed me into stepherz.org

Now how do I like it? I wouldn't trade my domain name for anything! It's purely me, and if my tastes ever change, I won't have to get a new name, because I AM Stepherz.
