How to Have a Trendy Site
Everyone wants to have a popular site, with tons of hits right? And everyone knows that the latest trends are the perfect way to increase popularity and visitors, right? So, I created this handy dandy list for you to create the perfect trendy and popular site. Remember, these rules are not to be broken unless a new, better trend comes along.
- Have layouts slathered with the latest celebrities.
- Join fanlistings religiously.
- Make sure your radio.blog is accesible from every page.
- Don't let your columns be too fat. Thin is in.
- Layer as many web bands as possible, even if you don't support the cause, it looks really cool.
- Link to your myspace account, but make sure it's private, and friend's only.
- Striped backgrounds are the only type of backgrounds. Make sure it's fixed. Only loser's backgrounds scroll.
- Be sure and blog once a day. Twice if possible. Three times and you're ultra cool.
- Have a disclaimer stating you'll kill if things are stolen. The threat of violence will maintain your "copyright."
- Join some kind of link exchange, like Exentrique.
- Cam yourself in scantily clad clothes, but exlaim "No Nudies!"
- Cam your cat.
- Cam your dog.
- Ah fuck have a dinner cam.
- Have no original content. Don't write anything.
- "Write" tutorials on things you have never done before by copying another sites and changing a few words around.
- Have a tagboard.
- Threaten to close your site when you don't recieve any comments on your blog.
- Have 100 different things to read, especially forwards, and "Things to Do in..." whatever.
- Have a website name with the word pink, glitter, or sparkles. How about Pink Glitter Sparkles? Sparkle Pink Glitters?
- Post pictures up of yourself and call yourself ugly, even if you're not. You'll get more comments
- Have lots of plus signs in your title bar. Bonus points if you can get your title centered using this technique.
- Claim your site is original over and over again, even though all of your content is from every other personal site, and your photographs are copyrighted, and not to you.
- Make sure to have a hyphen in your domain name. It is the most overlooked and under used of all symbols.
- Don't ever just sign your name at the end of a blog. Use an image with your name in it.
- Your columns still aren't thin enough. Thinner. A website's diet is 400 calories, not mega calories.
- Make sure your site only works in one browser. Tough luck for people with different browser. The world revolves around you, and they must cater!
- Images must be big. Use up all of the 1243x900 moniter.
- Your columns must still be thin though.
- Mention at least once that music = life.

I'm just a (slightly) normal 19 year old girl from California, USA who loves animals, and all things cute! I am very much in love with my boyfriend of 11 months, Michael. I am currently in college studying to be a psychologist.
