How to have a Trendy Emo Site
Wanna have a trendy Emo site? Follow these guidlines, and you'll be as popular as ear plugs and razorblades in no time!- Make your columns as small as possible. The smaller they are, the more emo you will appear.
- Have layouts with only the trendiest rock bands, like My Chemical Romance, and Linkin Park.
- Have a background image filled with tiny xs. They are totally emo.
- Say you're straight-edge but blog about your sex capades, and drug usage.
- True emo sites are blog only. Though you can get away with an "About Me" page.
- Have a radio blog with the newest and coolest Emo bands no one has heard of.
- The more xxxx's in your title bar, the more emo you are.
- Your sites title should have something to do with death or depression. Something like Depression Death will get you lots of hits.
- Clashy colors look awesome. Neon green, yellow, and gray work wonders together!
- Make your font really tiny. Nothing about size 8. If people don't have to squint to read your blog, they aren't worthy.
- Sign your blog with an image of your name in a fancy font.
- For the comment link on your blog, use this format C1MNT, replacing the number with how many comments you have of course.
- Use a music note to denote what emo song you are listening to.
- Curse often but censor it out.
- Be under the age of 14.
- Be a vegetarian, but only because it's popular.
- Be athiest, agnostic, or spiritual but not religious.
- Use bolds and italics like there's no tomorrow, and Remember to make them colorful
- Use little skulls as your bullets.
- Run a bunch of fanlistings about bands you barely know. It's okay, as long as they're emo.
- Instead of using normal navigation, use random words. 'Whore' for 'About Me,' 'Victim' for 'You', 'Asylum' for 'Exit/Domain'.
- Use pictures of pale women, with emphasis on their eyes.
- Instead of having headers that explain what the next paragraph is about, use something mysterious. Instead of 'Basic Information' use 'Girl with a Sorry Heart.'
- Use Snap Shots for your links, so everyone can have a priview.
- Dedicate an entire page to pictures of your piercings, tattoos, scarification, and suspension. Even if you only have one; it'll show the emo community how tough you are. Even better if there's tear involved.
- Layer patterns and colors over pictures of yourself. Try making it icy blue, or adding X's over your eyes.
- 'Splice' all your images to help loading time. You know. Even though this does the opposite.

I'm just a (slightly) normal 19 year old girl from California, USA who loves animals, and all things cute! I am very much in love with my boyfriend of 11 months, Michael. I am currently in college studying to be a psychologist.
