The Ouija Board is an object used to communicate with spirits that have passed on to the other world. In can be used to help solve murder mysteries or to find out who you will marry. Don't take the board seriously all the time though. Sometimes the spirits like to tell lies and mess with your head.
Method
It seems to work better, if it is dark, with a few candles lit, but
it does work quite well with lights turned on. You definitly need a
quiet place. It works best with two people, one male and one female,
but having more people, or same sex is okay. Place your fingertips lightly on
the planchette (pointer) and put it in the middle of the board.
It is best to have one, and only person ask questions, to avoid confusion. Make sure this person speaks clearly and loudly while asking. Do not remove your fingertips from the planchette.
Some people like to perform a protection ritual, before starting anything. You can imagine yourself surrounded by white light, or find one here.
You might first begin by asking if there is anyone else in the room with you, or if a willing spirit may come forth to you and answer some questions. Both should concentrate on clearing their thoughts, and becoming as mindless as possible. It is advised for long sentences, for one person to write the words down. It can take anywhere from immediatly to five minutes for it start. It should pick up from there however.
From there, you can pretty much ask anything you wish too. I do however, think it best if you avoid certain questions, like...
- When will I die?
- How will I die?
- Show us that you're here.
- Death, Murdering, anything indicating harm towards another person
You can continue for as long as time and the spirit permits.
After you are finished, you may do a banishing ritual if you wish at the end to make sure that no spirits are left hanging around.

I'm just a (slightly) normal 19 year old girl from California, USA who loves animals, and all things cute! I am very much in love with my boyfriend of 11 months, Michael. I am currently in college studying to be a psychologist.
