Volume 1. Raven's Past.

"Raven im afraid i can't take care of you any longer. Your too much for me." A women who aparently seems like ravens mother says.
"What about my Dad?" The 6 year old Raven asks. Raven's mother looks frightened and shocked at her daughters remark.
"I don't know where your father is right now, he left a long time ago." Her mother remarks.
Raven starts to cry and the house starts to shake. Then her face swells up with anger. She runs out of the house screaming. The house crumbles behind her as she runs down the black pathed street. Everything around her breaks, crumbles & or is demolished. But just as a nearby glass window cracks a dark portal appears from out of no where & a dark figure emerge from the portal. The figure examines the landscape & then turns his head to the startled girl standing in front of him.
"Well little girl it seems you can't control yourself. Do you want me to teach you how to control yourself? Do you want a home to live in?"
"How did you know that?" Raven asks very surprised & somwat scared.
"I know many things... Raven. You can help me. I have a problem. My son needs a friend."
"Why do you want me to meet your son?" Raven asked.
"Just come & you will see why." The man asked.
"Wait a minute what is your name?" Raven asked him suspiciously.
"I'll introduce myself once we get there." The man answered as he stepped into the portal, & Raven followed. Inside the portal was pitch black. But then a light showed & Raven floated towards it. She exited the portal & was in an entirely new place. It seemed as if it was a castle. The walls were black & there were no lights but the room was mysteriously lightened brightly. She could see every single detail. "This is my son Dread. And i am his father Terror." (Terror is also one of Ravens fathers many identities. He obtains the powers of those he has children with. Then he leaves But he stayed with Dread because Dreads mother died in childbirth.) The mans son was sitting on a black table. One of the only things in the room that wasn't black was the boys hair, which was very long & almost entirely white. He wore black robes & had a pale face, his eyes shined green & he had a blank expression on his face. But when he saw Raven his expression bursted into a smile.
"Dad you brought me a sister!" The boy exclaimed, his tone was very exited but his overall voice had a slightly dark tone to it. (like raven's voice.)
"Yes i did but first we must ask her if she wishes to join our family." Terror remarked. "So Raven do you want to be Dread's step sister?"
"I guess i will because i don't have anywhere else to go." Raven said in a dull voice. Dread ran over & immediately hugged her. She was startled & immediately blushed. Causing one of the black chairs to split into 9 different pieces.
"Dad she has powers?" Dread asked nervously.
"Yes, I will start to teach her how to control them tomorrow." Terror remarked.
"OK Dad." Dread said dissapointed.
(OK im going to point this out. Dread comes from a planet kinda like Starfire's, Everyone there has powers. But Dread comes from a royal family, & he develops his powers at a later age but is ten times more powerful than any other normal person on his planet when he does. And when he gains his power he goes temporarily uncontrollable & the wrath of his power is shown on everyone around him.)
"C'mon sister let me show you to your room." Dread says. Raven follows him out of the room. They turn right & head up two flieghts of stairs. "You will sleep in the same room as me because i sometimes get scared at night, my friends don't like me anymore because i don't have any powers like they do."
Raven gets in her bed which is opposite Dreads bed.
"Good night sister." Dread says.
"Good night" Raven says back. & she drifts off into sleep.
And so it is that Raven has found a home. Terror teaches Raven how to control her powers.
The next morning Raven is woken up by a hand on her forehead. She opens her eys & sees Terror looking at her.
"Come Raven i know its early but we need to start teaching you how to control your powers or you will be a danger to everyone you encounter." Terror tells her. "In order to stop destroying things you must control your emotions you cannot feel any emotions. You must lock them inside your mind. To do this you must meditate for atleast an hour every day. And you must chant these words 'Asarath, Metrion, Zinthos' Continuously. Now lets have you practice meditation now. Sit down on the floor with your legs crossed & your hands extended into the shape of a six, then close your eyes &." Terror is cut short of his final words.
"Asarath, Metrion, Zinthos. Asarath, Metrion, Zinthos." Raven levitated slightly off the ground into the air & continued chanting. And 6 months after that day, at night some of Dreads old friends came to his window & open a portal to get inside his house. And they start to make fun of Dread & they hit him & tease him.
"C'mon Dread use you 'powers' to fight back, oops i forgot. You don't have any." Says one of the boys.
"Yeah Dread, Fight back." Another boy says before he punches Dread in the stomach.
"Leave my Brother alone." Raven shouts as her body glows black with her telekinetic energy.
"And wat are you gonna do about it ... you Girl!" Another one of the boys says.
"I'll do This. Asaroth, Metrion, Zinthos!" The 3 boys glow with her energy & they're lifted into the air & slammed against the wall. "Now leave him alone." She says as she pounds them on the floor & releases them. The boys look frightfully at eachother & vanish into the portals they make. The boys never did come back to pick on dread again. So over 5 years Raven & Dread started developing feeling for eachother. Raven was now 11 & Dread was now 12. One very horrible evening..... Dread... Obtained... His... Power...
Raven and Dread were outside playing together.
"Dread, I have something i want to tell you." Raven blushes as she says this. And a tree nearby cracks & falls on a bench.
"So do i Raven." Dread says. But then Dread puts his hand on his head & winces in pain. A portal opens up behind him.
"Dread wats Happening?" Raven asks.
Portals open up everywhere & blasts of void energy fire out of every portal. One just barely misses Raven.
"Raven go in the next portal that opens... Before your killed." Dread says like it is very painful to talk. Then he starts glowing with raging black flames. His green eyes slowly turn blank & his mouth shapes into a maniacal grin. Raven quickly Jumps into a portal that opens up right next to her & closes behind her. She floats in the darkness of the portal for a long time. (3 days exactly.) Then a very bright light opens up infront of her & shes sent hurling right into.... Titans Tower. There she remained. Forgetting her past & bonding with the other Titans.
