Meet Trayce, an ordinary girl with an extraordinary gift- a set of element-bending superpowers and an amazing Phoenix strength. She only has one problem: she hasn't got a clue as to controlling her awesome abilities. Her younger sister Jesse has already joined the forces of Slade and is still out to get her too. The story starts with an ordinary day, walking along the streets. This is her story, told from many points of view, each of them seen through very different eyes .....

It's an average day, nothing new, not so much as a hint of what to happen. Walking down the alley you hear a "Titans, GO!" somewhere close. Breaking into a furious sprint, you find 6 tenagers fighting what appears to be sewer sludge gone wrong. You hear a name- Plasmus. The teens she saw spring into action, baring down on Plasmus. You head back into the alley. But no, there was something there, something compelling you to fight. Turning back, you see only one of the teenagers standing, a black-haired boy of probably 15. Plasmus fires a blast at the boy, sending him flying back from a failed dodge. It approaches the fallen group, ready to fire.

A bar hits it in the back of the head. "Hey!!! Yeah you, you walking pile of sewer crap!!! Pick on someone your own size!!!!" Plasmus turns and fires a cannon of sludge at the girl standing at the other end of the street.

A column of goo comes flying at you from the sludge creature. In a surge of energy, you summon the might of fire and launches a wall of flame in the shape of a bird hurtling at Plasmus. The reddish glop is engulfed in flame and the bird of fire crashes with a satisfying slam into Plasmus.

Opening a weary eye, Robin awakens to an unusual sight- a girl of no more than 14 or so is fighting Plasmus completely alone.... and she's winning. *The blast of sludge must've hit me a lot harder than I thought...* he thinks. A red bolt of energy hits the wall behind him. That was definately real. The other Titans behind him have come to their senses and have seen the new girl too.

Rubbing her head from the ache of the blast, Terra looks up to see a girl fighting Plasmus. She seems to be holding out, but Plasmus has gotten an edge.

You're doing your best to beat out Plasmus but you're barely keeping control of your immense power. A blast of sludge comes flying at you, catching you completely off guard and slamming you into a wall. That snaps it. In a blazing fury you blast every last bit of the sludge away. The teenagers from earlier are up and fighting again, but you never go off without finishing what you started.

Weakened from being struck to the ground and Plasmus baring down on him, Robin only has to hope one of the other Titans will come to his aide. Just as Plasmus is about to strike the final blow, the girl fighting earlier comes hurtling at Plasmus, slamming him into an apartment building and out the other side, red flashes reflecting through the dust.

The dust settles and Plasmus is finally down and out. "Dude...." You turn back to see the green boy looking through the gaping hole in the building. "I take it you've never seen a girl fight like that?" You ask brushing dust off your black shirt. Stepping out of the hole the others are clearly impressed with your battle skills. "And you are...." The blonde girl asks you. "The name's Trayce. I don't think I've ever seen you guys before." "We're the Teen Titans." The black-haired boy says. "I'm Robin." He introduces the others as Cyborg, Raven, Terra, Beast Boy, and Starfire. "You must be my friend!" Starfire shrieks as she gives you a bone-crushing hug. "Um, sure, why not..." She lets go. You take in a deep breath.

Trayce turns back to the badly-beaten Plasmus. "What was he doing that made you have to attack him?" "He's an escapee from prison, wanted for theft crimes." Robin explains. "I see...."

The Titans take you to the Tower. "So what were you doing over in that corner of the city?" Cyborg asks. "I live there." "But there are no real houses there..." "I know.... I've been homeless for as long as I can remember..." Silence. Robin glances at a clock on the far wall. "It's getting late. Since you don't have anywhere to go, you could spend the night here." "That would be awesome." The Titans gather up a blanket or two and head off to bed. Before you sleep, the only thing you can think about is what they would think of your secret....
