Someone on Vindicated MB wanted to know how to make outlined brushes, so I fiddled around and found this method. Outlines will look different depending on what kind of brush you use.
I went from this:
To This:
Start off with a completely transparent image big enough for the brushes. Add the brushes you want. Now click on the magic wand tool and select your brush. Make a new image a little bigger than your brush. Make it the color you want the background to be. (In my case white.)
Copy the selected brush and paste it into a new image. Now go to selection > modify > expand. This will be how many pixels the space between the brush and the outline is. I used five for my example; but you can really use anything you would like to. However, I suggest four to seven.
Now, with the image still selected (Don't click anything after you do expand!), paste it into a bigger image that is the same color as the brush. (My case is green) This will be your outline. Do the same thing as before. Selection > modify > expand. Make this one smaller than the last one. I suggest 1-3. Now, once again without clicking outside the selection, copy and paste the image in the background.
That's it. Done.

I'm just a (slightly) normal 19 year old girl from California, USA who loves animals, and all things cute! I am very much in love with my boyfriend of 11 months, Michael. I am currently in college studying to be a psychologist.
